The PowerSC Virtual Networking Firewall

IBM Power Systems servers provide the capability to perform virtual networking between logical partitions (LPARs) running on the same physical server. However, because inter-LPAR network traffic doesn't pass through traditional firewalls, use of virtual networking also presents a security challenge. To address this challenge, IBM’s PowerSC security and compliance solution provides a trusted firewall module.

Or maybe you want to delete specific records in a number of files. Rather than writing a lot of separate programs to do these tasks, wouldn't it be great if you could just write one program and have another program make copies of it that were modified to work on each of those files?
